Glandular structure type

The Glandular structure type has a number of names it is known as such as:

• Daisy
• Abdominal reservoir
• Hormonal endocrine
• Pluriglandular
• Polyglandular

Its primary nurture point is the Glands and the Heart and physically, this is recognised by a number of similar sized Lacuna located on the edge of the collarette area. There can also be a tightly packed fibre structure beyond the collarette.

The Pluriglandular is recognised by both small and large Lacunas in this area. According to the Toni Miller school of Iridology, the Pluriglandular has larger Lacuna and has more of a disposition to Diabetes.

This structural type suggests a tendency in childhood to bone problems such as Rickets and Scoliosis and can experience growing pains during their teens and have growth surges.

They can also experience inflammation and thyroid issues during their teens and females can develop problems with the menstrual cycle. This points to problems with the body’s ability to eliminate.

This structure has a strong hereditary disposition to blood sugar problems and therefore a family history of diabetes or Hypoglycaemia will be common. This structure may also have weaknesses in the following areas:

• Hypothalamus
• Pituitary
• Thyroids
• Gonads
• Pineal
• Pancreas
• Adrenal Glands

It is common for females to develop the menopause earlier in life and also struggle with fertility issues whilst men are likely to experience circulation and prostate problems.

The struggles with the Thyroid can exacerbate the body’s ability to metabolise efficiently and can limit the body’s ability to absorb Calcium as well as experiencing weight problems.

Their diet should consist of that which is associated with the Eye colour and then prioritise a high fibre diet with low saturated fat. Plenty of seeds are essential for this type and avoid heavy, rich foods and vital to chew your food so that it helps the digestive system extract as much nutrition as possible.

They can be deficient in Chromium and Vitamin E as well as Calcium and would benefit from the following food and supplements in the diet:

Psyllium for regular bowels

Slippery Elm for regular bowels

Chromium blood sugar regulation
Cinnamon blood sugar regulation
Siberian Ginseng for Adrenal Glands

Liquorice for Adrenal Glands

Emotionally they burn out often from excess working and don’t have enough quality rest or sleep – therefore they need to listen to themselves and their bodies, identify their limits and boundaries physically, mentally and emotionally.

Tend to be creative people who are socially liked, spontaneous and emotional and this makes them good at practical tasks and so are good with their hands.

It is not uncommon to see these burn out easily because of over doing it, not resting enough and due to possible blood sugar fluctuations with this eye structure – which can manifest in mood swings.

This eye structure can also exhibit male with more feminine characteristics and females with more masculine characteristics.
