Plethoric structure type

The Plethoric structure is also referred to as Cardio-Abdominal or Roemheld syndrome type and the its primary nurture points are the digestive system and the connective tissue of the body.

Its most commonly identifying features are the fibres being close together outside of the stomach area (collarette) and usually seen with a smaller pupil (miosis). Can also have a gross collarette extension, particular in the lower areas and may have glandular lacunas.

‘Plethora’ literally means an excessive amount of something and in the medical field, this relates to a bodily fluid which is usually blood. So as the name suggests, due to the excess blood placed on the bodies capillaries caused by irritable veins and will have slow moving blood circulation.

In adulthood, this can cause stagnation throughout the body and as the portal veins being congested, can lead to a number of conditions such as pelvic congestion, varicose veins, heart and prostate conditions.

They can also experience endocrine issues, headaches, thyroid and asthma complaints. Due to the blood congestion, can also experience Gall bladder problems because of congestion in the Liver with reduced Bile flow.

The focal point is the digestive system with the connective tissues connected to the GUT.

A common symptom found within such people with this eye structure will be cardiovascular issues and constipation; and upon exploring family history with the client, will more than likely find constipation to be a common inherited problem and with children experiencing this from an early age.

Therefore, if the cardiovascular system can be worked and managed earlier in life, this can help deter many cardiovascular problems one would normally experience later in adult life.

As an adult, they can physically develop a larger waist with a thick and short neck and can appear to have underdeveloped muscles in the extremes of the body. As adults, they can suffer from the following:

• Atherosclerosis
• Elevated cholesterol
• Inflammatory conditions due to high uric acid levels
• Sleep and weight issues

As an analogy, the body can accumulate waste over the years if not managed correctly and this can be reflected as a person who hoards material things.

As they do not wish to exercise can become overweight easily and only exacerbate there temperament further so it’s imperative, they exercise not only to be physically well, but mental and emotional wellbeing too.
