Blue Eyes – Lymphatic constitution

An eye which is blue in colour, can also be grey or a little green to constitute being a blue eye and this is the primary genetic colour group - It is also known as the pure lymphatic type.

It can also be identified as have visible fibres with a variable structure and can usually have a white collarette with a whiteish humoral zone. Some blue eye types can exhibit lymphatic tophi and some pigment colours clear and present.

This is known as the Lymphatic type and its primary nurture point is the Lymphatic system which is the most common type of problems this coloured eye will likely suffer from.

The Lymphatic system concerns the Mucous Membrane as this surrounds all our internal organs providing lubrication and also a first line of defence against disease and infection. So, it is vital that this membrane is managed and maintained well in order to keep the body working effectively and efficiently for optimal health.

As a child they usually have good health with not many issues although some may experience issues and this is usually related to their mucous membranes being very sensitive particularly in with inflammation of the throat, tonsils, adenoids and also issues in the ear, nose and throat region.

Such individuals usually struggle with swollen glands and allergy issues. They can also struggle with skin conditions like rashes, Eczema, Hives and Acne. Respiratory problems can be common too like Asthma and Bronchitis because of the sensitivity of the Mucous Membranes that react when irritated by inhaled particles, things in the diet and also irritation with external chemicals.

Based on the diet of the blue eye types, the most likely things that can cause problems for them is any form of dairy, especially sour cream, ice cream, milk and cream as well as processed and refined foods including sugar and wheat.

As a baby, the child should be breastfed and avoid cow’s milk at all costs until the point they can be weaned onto non-dairy liquids.

As an adult, the common complaints as a child can continue because of the overworking and extra pressure based on the immune system trying to deal with the complaints. This can manifest as problems with the ear, nose and throat including discharges as well as struggling with respiratory issues.

This is usually down to chronic inflammation of the membranes that are associated with respiratory problems and as they increase in age, this can manifest as problems within the skeletal system like Arthritis and Osteoporosis.



General health and advice are as follows:

The diet should be avoiding dairy products as these increase the production of Mucous and this can be stimulated further by the increased consumption of acidic food.

Avoid all forms of refined food, like white flour, sugar, common salt and refined wheat.

Avoid all form of stimulants, like coffee, teas, fizzy drinks, alcohol and energy drinks.

Ideally, the daily diet should consist of good quality protein, carbohydrates and good fats.

Fresh seasonal fruit and vegetables are needed, and a plant-based diet of proteins are ideal and include white fish as an alternative source of protein.

Diet should include foods that contain:

• Omega 3 fatty acids (such as Walnuts, Flaxseeds, Pumpkin seeds)
• Have plenty of water daily – minimum 2 litres.
• Plenty of broths, herbal teas and diluted fruit juices

Plenty of daily exercise needed each day and when doing so, add an extra litre of water per day of exercise.

Plenty of sunshine and fresh air is good for the body and provides essential vitamin D.

It should be noted that some blue eye constitutions have problems with nutrient and vitamin absorption and utilisation due to cell membrane issues that can be stabilised through Calcium.

Blue eye clients commonly tend to have the following deficiencies:

• Magnesium
• Zinc
• Calcium
• Silica
• Iron

The best way to support their constitution is primarily to support the Lymphatic system and the immune system using herbs like:

• Garlic
• Burdock
• Astragalus
• Vitamin C
• Echinacea

For Lymphatic constitutions, It is recommended to take seasonal precautions to prevent disease as a proactive measure.

Emotionally such individuals should understand and accept there own limits and learn how to love and develop themselves.

When health and in balance, they are individuals who are usually well grounded and can easily agreeable and perceptive.
